First, the wisdom of Russia to ban the Cult and now the Hero Judge in Mexico who makes a loving decision!
Things are looking up! Could this be an indication that a World-Wide Waking Up is beginning?

i cant believe what i'm hearing... actually, nothing surprises be about this cult anymore.. didn't they say to the judge in the arc that they dont discourage college?.
When I graduated from High School in 1959 I had no desire to attend College. But, as I was perusing my options to make an escape from the WTBorg Society, decided to enlist in the Naval Reserve. Shortly thereafter I was on active duty far from home and learning valuable skills. I decided to stay in the Navy so that I could obtain technical training in the Electronics Field. As a consequence I did acquire an education equivalent to a college engineering degree which proved very valuable job-wise following my retirement from the Navy. While College is a good move for those who are sufficiently motivated to avoid the party scene, there are equally good alternatives. Education is essential by whatever means it is attained.
When WTBorg Inc. shows signs of "self-destructing" it is a happy day! Rejoice! The End is near!
a lot of religious folks can have an open-minded discussion about their beliefs without getting defensive.
some can actually consider things from another point of view and point out the validity in the other person's point.
obviously, a lot of jws may just be scared to think/speak in a semi-detrimental way about their religion.
All y'all are absolutely "right on" regarding the Control, the Enforced Obedience, the Isolation and the Absolute Dependence upon All Things Governing Body!
What is truly eery about the WTBorg Inc. is how it compares with the practices of Radical Islam or ISIS. The "Control Freak" similarities are frightening.
It's beginning to look like the WTBorg have made a deal with the Father of the Lie...
i would really like to read the thoughts of an evolutionist as they lie on their deathbed.
their "honest to nogod" thoughts.
their terrors.
Ah, so the Evolutionsts and the Atheists do indeed Squirm!
The WTBorg instruction to disregard and/or discredit any belief or opinion which seems contrary to their Dogma seems alive and well. Intolerance in now a "Cool" behavior.
Seems rather childish doesn't it? Particularly for those who Critically Think.
The Question really has a simple answer; from another question:
Are you looking forward to dying or would you rather live?
Not to worry. When it is all said and done even those who thought it all a sham will be restored to life and health. Just wait and see!
The God portrayed by the WTBorg is an Intolerant Destroyer. He is not the Real One.
when a person joins the jw organization, do they make a statement claiming that they totally renounce any other religion ?.
i recently took a class titled " religions of the world" and for a final project students need to attend several religious services, and write a paper on the experience.. i find religions to be very interesting to study, but it has crossed my mind that i may have agreed to something when i became a witness back in 1977/ 15 years old at the time.
it is not a major concern, but i would just hate for some statement to appear, or be found by someone stating that i once completely disavowed any religion outside of the jw's.. not being neurotic here, just don't want that ridiculous part of my past jumping up and stabbing me in the backš.
It is also good to know that any "Oath" according to the Justice of the Bible is nullified by deception, fraud or coercion. This is also the case in the Law of the Land.
illustration of the rich man and the poor man lazarus indirectly hints that the materially rich would go to hell and the poor ones to heaven.
if one reads between the lines, one can discern that this illustration is a later adoption intended to exploit the rich using the poor as a means.. i have friends who are extremely rich (net-worth in billions) and also who are materially very poor, and have found both are living in hell because of their attitude.
the excess the rich have prevents them from enjoying it (and even the affluent find a huge gap between income and desires, hence find themselves often in conflict and competition) and whereas the deprived compare themselves with the haves which prevents them also from enjoying their lives.. jesus would not provide an illustration that undermines his own most favored statement: āhappy are those poor in spirit because kingdom of heavens belongs to themā (mathew 5:3) and his own explanation that heaven is the condition of oneās heart (luke 17:21) obviously he had in mind those who do not have the baggage of attachment and sense of possession, those few people of simplicity that belong to both the categoriesāthe rich and the poor.ļ»æ simplicity is the ultimate sophistication, a stage where every possession serves a purpose living a life that is deliberate and intentional (not one that someone else has scripted for them) and wanting to feel more complete (not more objects of the world), at ease.
Vanderhoven7,
The Parable prophetically reveals the Justice and the Healing which is yet to come. your explanation is quite accurate regarding the ethical symbolisms and sheds much light. There is a bit more, however, which solidifies the extent of the Really Good News. The link explanation is quite lengthy but well worth the effort following it through. The Bible truly is an incredible Book.

When fully understood the Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus is quite beautiful.
i have posted the full story on a fb site.
so my apologies to anyone who's already read it.
some of what i've written is what was told to me by my father.
Aye, I'll definitely agree with _Morpheus on this!

Ok im hooked. More please
I think Snugglebunny has a book and a movie unfolding here.
Wonderful stuff!
this story shows the sad reality of being a jw in a medical emergency, and how incredibly difficult it is to make an informed, free choice about medical care.
it also shows that for jw's, obeying watchtower leaders is more important than marriage or even the life of your child.
very sad indeed: http://lifestyle.inquirer.net/267054/religious-husband-dumped-saving-child/ .
Very strong evidence of the traumatic fear-based brainwashing done by the WTBorg.
Quote from Victim Wife of WTBorg:
He said this procedure would make Jehovah angry. He said he was willing to sacrifice our daughterās life to please God
Quote from Victim Wife of WTBorg:
He even warned that our daughter and I would be punished for what Iāve done
While the Husband WTBorg has acted in the manner of a Complete As$Hole, I suppose it would be only right to have pity on the poor soul. He, very sadly, knows not what he has done and continues to do. Same for the congregation who have been hoodwinked.
The Victim Wife, conversely, demonstrates the Fruitage of the Holy Spirit in lovingly valuing the life of her daughter to provide her with life-saving blood. Blood from the place it belongs in her body to the place blood belongs in her daughter's body. How the WTBorg can equate this process to "eating blood" is Hateful Satanism.
Good Golly Miss Molly! The Brainwashing is incomprehensible. Banning of The Cult is perhaps the only solution.
Love the foregoing commentary... Right On!!
i remember about 5 years ago reading on another site about subliminal images in wt literature.
i honestly thought it a load of bs until i checked out one glaringly obvious image of a creepy skull in clouds within the knowledge book.
i was shocked and even showed my wife at the time who thought it was creepy.. so my question is why?
Quote from Cofty:
That is a very strange statement. Surely the WT traces its roots to the 19th century Protestant Adventist movement. That is a very strange statement. Surely the WT traces its roots to the 19th century Protestant Adventist movement.
Aye, that is so. All Protestant movements originated with Roman Catholicism and, unfortunately, retained many, many of its false beliefs. The WTBorg continue to propagate these same false beliefs even today. There is in fact, little difference between WT teachings and MainLine Christendom teachings. Especially those teachings relating to "money" and "tithes." Mammon has become the "New Master." They (WTBorg) have brought themselves into alignment with the proposed "One World Religion" as it attempts to obliterate the Really Good News of The Word. These Strange Times are getting very strange indeed!
